Landscape Curbing

If you are looking to take your landscaping to the next level, curbing is a great choice. We offer the latest curbing styles in the industry - from traditional curbing to our very own unique, Acacia Stone and Raiyn's Carving.

Curbing Installation

  • We will arrive at your property with our curbing trailer, which holds all the materials needed for the preparation and installation. After arrival, the crew will begin to set up while the foreman walks the property with you to discuss and paint lines where the new landscape curbing will go. Once the lines are approved by you, the ground will be prepped for the curb installation.

  • Once the preparation is complete and the tools/machinery is put in place, we will begin to mix the concrete. Our mix consists of Riverside Portland Cement, Washed Plaster Sand, and multiple different admixtures to give us the perfect concrete mix design for our landscape curbing.

  • Once the mix is ready, it is driven to the curbing machine with a motorized wheelbarrow.

  • The concrete will then be extruded from the machine and finished with a special hand trowel that is the same shape as the curb.

  • When the curb is done, we add control joints every 2-3 feet to minimize cracking when the curb flexes and moves with the ground.

  • If you got colored curbing, stamped curbing, or stone curbing, there may be a few more steps to finish the design installation, which we will discuss with you.

Benefits

Concrete curbing is by far a more effective, safer alternative to other options such as black plastic edging, bend a board, or metal edging. Concrete curbing is the longest lasting landscape edging solution. It is unable to be cut by a lawn mower, will not rot or rust due to moisture, stops grass from encroaching into flower beds, and reduces edging and trimming time.

Curbing Warranty

Our warranty on curbing is a 1 year workmanship warranty. Decorative landscape curbing cures fast, so any issues that may come up will usually occur within the first 24 hours. Spider cracks are a concrete issue that can and may occur. We do not typically have issues with them, but you should be aware. If a crack forms and it is more than 1/4 inch wide, it is operator error and will be fixed with no charge. Cracks that occur due to vehicles, heavy mowers, natural occurrences such as tree roots, ground heaving, etc. will not.

Artificial Turf

Artificial Turf

If you are looking to take your yard to the next level, Artificial Turf is a great way to do so. We offer a variety of turf to choose from to accommodate your needs.

Artificial Turf Installation

  • We will arrive at your property with all of our equipment to begin the project.

  • Once we set up our equipment, we will begin to remove the old lawn to prepare for the artificial turf.

  • After the old lawn is removed to the desired height, we will begin to fill the area with class 2 road base - a crushed and graded blend of aggregates designed to compact tightly with the proper equipment.

  • Then, we will begin raking to level out the yard and get everything to the desired elevation.

  • Once the base is level, we will saturate it with water and begin to compact it with a plate compactor 2-3 times.

  • Once compacted, we will place a weed fabric to help try to prevent the growth of weeds.

  • Finally, we will begin to install the artificial turf with 5.5 inch galvanized nails.

*If there is anything else needed for the installation of your turf, we will discuss that with you prior to the project start.

  • Reduction of water usage and waste

Rocks and Mulch

Rocks, Mulch, and Yard Clean Ups

Rocks and Mulch

Rocks and mulch are great ways to add a finished look to your landscape. We offer plenty of different colors of rocks and mulch that will fit and enhance most landscapes.

Benefits

Mulch

Mulch will eventually break down and decompose over time, which is actually beneficial because it adds nutrients to your soil. Mulch also prevents the growth of weeds and prevents the water in soil from evaporating quickly, meaning that plants will need to be watered less often.

Rocks

Rocks make a great ground cover, as they can create multiple designs and creations with all the different colors and sizes. Rocks also offer many of the same benefits as mulch. Rocks are great if you are looking for a low maintenance landscape, as they are a one time purchase and will last a lifetime.
